TalentoHQ can issue a reminder before the start or end of a configured schedule. The company decides which reminder to enable and which channel to use: an in-app notification, email or a device alert when available.
Available channels for each reminder
- In-app notification: appears within the TalentoHQ interface.
- Email: reaches the address configured for that user.
- Device alert: appears when the browser or mobile device has granted notification permission.

The employee receives the reminder and remains responsible for recording the start or finish. If the alert arrives at a time that does not match the real schedule, the manager should review the assigned hours; adding more notifications will not correct an inaccurate plan.
How to check the configuration
First confirm the employee's schedule and notification permissions on the device. Test one start and one finish reminder, then check whether the working-time entry was recorded. The alert can reduce missed entries but does not replace that review.
- Review the schedule assigned to the employee.
- Choose the channel and how far in advance the reminder should arrive.
- Enable permission in each browser or device where the notification should appear.
- Test one start and one finish.

For device alerts, each person must allow notifications in the browser or installed web app they use. The exact permission controls and instructions depend on that browser and operating system.

What managers and HR review
The dashboard shows schedules, recorded activity and exceptions requiring review. If an entry falls outside the assigned schedule or configured area, the responsible person checks the record and follows the company's procedure.
